On June 17th, the "Digital Factory for Medium and Low Voltage Switchgear Assemblies" project of Guangzhou Baiyun Electrical Equipment Co., LTD., in which Senlan Intelligent participated in the integrated general contracting, was successfully accepted by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China in 2018 as a comprehensive standardization and new model application project for intelligent manufacturing.

The acceptance meeting was presided over by Zhou Fangyan, a researcher from the Equipment Industry Division of the Department of Industry and Information Technology of Guangdong Province. A total of 9 experts in technology and finance from all over the country jointly formed the acceptance review expert group. Huang Zhiyong, a researcher from the Equipment Industry Division of the Guangzhou Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology, and Su Xinde, deputy director of the Science, Industry and Commerce Information Bureau of Baiyun District, Guangzhou, and other leaders attended the acceptance meeting. Hu Dezhao, Chairman of Baiyun Electric, Hu Mingcong, President of Baiyun Electric, Yuan Xuelin, Hu Dechang, Deputy General Manager of Senlan Intelligent Jiang Ke 沨 and other main responsible persons of the enterprises of the project consortium reported to the expert group on the implementation of the project.
This project is led by Baiyun Electric Appliance and jointly undertaken by seven units including Jiangsu Senlan Intelligent System Co., LTD., Zhejiang University and Huawei Technologies. This project is mainly aimed at the typical discrete manufacturing characteristics of the power equipment manufacturing industry, which are "small-batch orders, short delivery cycles, high degrees of non-standardization, and complex operation and maintenance". By comprehensively applying technologies such as flexible sheet metal processing, three-dimensional warehousing, advanced logistics transportation, industrial robots, AGV/RGV dedicated carts and logistics dispatching systems, data collection, digital twins, energy management, intelligent integrated monitoring systems, and full life cycle management of urban rail transit power supply systems, a sub-assembly and final assembly line based on material pull and warehouse line coordination has been constructed. As well as the integrated copper busbar automatic processing line for warehouse lines, sheet metal flexible processing production line, secondary wire harness automatic processing line, etc.
Meanwhile, in light of the production organization characteristics of digital factories, this project has established an MES production and manufacturing execution system and an intelligent warehousing and logistics management system based on the group structure, creating an intelligent manufacturing base for power distribution equipment based on full life cycle management. This has enabled the company to transform from "product-driven rapid enterprise development" to "data-driven high-quality enterprise development". It has achieved flexible manufacturing, fully automated logistics, intelligent operation and maintenance of intelligent medium and low voltage complete sets of equipment, as well as digitalization from product design, production planning to manufacturing execution. It has formed a demonstration model of intelligent manufacturing for distribution equipment characterized by flexible manufacturing and a demonstration model of maintenance and support for distribution equipment characterized by full life cycle management.
The construction period of this project was from August 2016 to June 2020, with a construction area of 58,000 square meters. It began trial production ahead of schedule in December 2018. After more than a year of trial operation, the factory has achieved full data-driven operation and has the capacity to produce 50,000 sets of medium and low voltage complete sets of intelligent power distribution equipment for smart grids and rail transit annually. Two projects have been recognized as pilot demonstrations of intelligent manufacturing in Guangdong Province (discrete manufacturing pilot demonstration and intelligent service and management pilot demonstration), and have been approved for the intelligent manufacturing special Project by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

After the acceptance expert group conducted a group review of the project acceptance materials, they carried out a detailed technical examination of the project site and verified the equipment and systems. After thorough questioning and discussion, the expert group believes that the project meets the construction requirements, operates well and has achieved relatively significant phased results, reaching the acceptance standards.
